DIY-Summer-Bucket-List

It's beginning to feel a lot like summertime. Finally, the sun is shining and warm breezes are blowing flowers through the wind. I even welcome the the occasional rainy day, because I know that soon school will be over and the only homework I will have to accomplish will be the self inflicted kind.

Like most students, as soon as I have written my final exam, the school management side of my brain (and all of the actual necessary worldly skills associated with it) sizzle away under the power of my newfound freedom. For the first days, I am happy to indulge in a lethargic schedule of Netflix, brunch, work and more Netflix, but that soon gets old. The problem? The further away I get from the structure of school, the less ideas I have on how to manage my time and actually get things done. Ironically, I've found that during the school year I actually have a bunch of fun activities that I'd love to do but always end up saying, "Maybe in the summer, when I more time I'll do it".

Inspired by that notion, I've created this cute DIY Summer Bucket List. It makes for great decor, and it's a fantastic way to get you in the right summer mindset. So, make the DIY, start brainstorming some ideas and get ready for one jampacked summertime!

The hardest part of this DIY is actually coming up with a full page of activities to fill up your summer bucket list. Once you've written down the perfect list, snip up each activity and roll/fold the pieces of paper.

Note: To make this DIY even cuter, you can use scrap booking paper from your local art store.

Now that that's done, take your sand (or whatever you'll be using to fill your jar) and begin to fill up the jar alternating between pieces of your list, sand and shells. And voilĂ ! You're done and ready to start your summer off on the right foot.
