I think that chasing your dreams is one of the most important thing that you can do in your life, but not many people do. This is mostly due to the fact that they are afraid of failure but, if they never take a chance how do they know what may or may not happen? However, that is not always the case, sometimes the person doesn't have someone around them to support their dreams and believe in them. While I do believe that it is very important for us to believe in ourselves, it doesn't hurt to have a good support group believing in you too.

I think that it is important to take every opportunity that is presented to you, because you may never get it again. Although, at the time you may be thinking, "But what if this happens?" or "What if that happens?" and you let that discourage you. Well, "What if it doesn't?" I also realised that it the "what ifs" in life that come to kill our dreams or at least throw us off course.

Instead of imagining ourselves, signing that record deal or scoring the winning goal, we see ourselves failing. I guess that since we fear the unknown, we tend to imagine the worst things, when in reality everything can just end up going smoothly. So in the end, it is up to us to change our perspective on life and be a little more optimistic. After all optimists see the opportunity in every difficulty, so when the times are tough you just have to work a little harder and find the silver lining in the dark cloudy sky. Because in the end, it will be totally worth it.

How do you work towards chasing your dreams?
